Sustained Investigation:

In my portfolio I hope to explore the fleeting yet beautiful moments in life captured from the world of botany and florals. As I thought about my life the main themes that I encounter are those of growth, resilience, and identity, qualities I can explore within myself but also through the natural world. Flowers, with their impermanence and cycle of blooming and fading, mirror the rhythms of human experience, which I hope to demonstrate through my portfolio. The gradual unfolding of a flower, the strength of roots that persist underground, and the way a flower turns toward light all serve as metaphors for personal evolution, endurance, and self-discovery. Through my work, I want to communicate how nature offers a framework unable to be captured in language, but rather through human experience and art.
